Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assistant Manager Responsibilities

Assist general manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies

Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met

Supervise and motivate staff

Interpersonal and mediation skills

Monitor retail operating costs, budgets, and resources

Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications

Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data

Drive recruitment process, training, and development

Secure adherence to company’s policies and guidelines

Assist clients with frame selection

Educate on lens options
-
Proactively listen to clients and look for opportunities to exceed their expectations

Process payments along with modest data entry
Qualifications
Assistant Manager Requirements and Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent experience
-
Experience in retail service or sales
-
Experience working in an optical dispensary (required)

Excellent customer service
-
Multilingual preferred (fluent in English and Spanish)

Basic computer skills, aptitude to quickly learn our software programs

Ability to effectively train and motivate sales associates

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills

Solid fashion sense and awareness of designer brands
