Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our growth strategy and expand business opportunities across all lines of business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals, driving growth in new and existing markets.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs, utilizing insights to inform business development efforts.
  • Sales Team Development: Build, lead, coach, and mentor the business development team, ensuring they are equipped with the industry knowledge, solutions expertise, and prospecting tools to succeed.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation, ensuring efficient pipeline management and closing of opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Partner with marketing to design and execute lead generation campaigns and targeted sales strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation: Lead the creation of high-quality proposals, presentations, and contracts. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to ensure long-term success.  
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing and finance to align business development efforts and ensure successful execution.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the clinical staffing industry or healthcare sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Clinical staffing industry experience required; clinical leadership experience preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams and driving results.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Exceptional sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen with the capacity to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
