Thornton Brothers, Inc. is looking for an experienced and motivated Bench Service Technician to join our team. As a Bench Service Technician at our company, you will be responsible for providing service and customer support in house in repair shop. Possible field site visits or dispatches to customers may occur. Managing all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine proper solutions for equipment in house.

May back up or assist Service Technician on field visits and customer demos.

Manage all on-site installations, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.

Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.

Test and prepare new equipment for customers.

Maintain clean and organized service shop.

Perform maintenance and minor repairs internally.
Qualifications
-
High mechanical aptitude and ability is a must.

Experience with electrical and preventative maintenance is preferred.

Must pass a background screen and have a clean driving record.

Must have good attention to detail and customer service skills.

Actively participate as a team member toward the completion of goals, taking actions that build productive team relationships and result in high quality team output; work and cooperate effectively with others to attain team objectives.
