Job Duties and Responsibilities

Expansion Development Manager job responsibilities include:

  • Project evaluation and modeling — market analysis, pro forma projections, ROI and NPV calculations
  • Prepare annual re-forecasts and budgets of existing investments 
  • Perform, compile and summarize market research on potential development locations
  • Develop complex financial models, presentations and supplement mapping or diagrams
  • Develop project documentation given constraints and project scope
  • Support in the development, construction, leasing, property management and accounting of assets
  • Develop and manage real estate development project plan with timelines, phases, resources and milestones
  • Construct, review and maintain financial models including hold/sell/finance analyses incorporating market forces


Expansion Development Manager required skills & qualifications include:

  • MBA, preferably in finance
  • Two+ years’ experience in areas of finance, real estate, investment management, consulting, or investment banking
  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Experienced user of project management software such as Smartsheets, MS Project or similar
  • Understanding of joint venture and/or MSA models in healthcare
  • Able to demonstrate strong relationship management skills and work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of investment in real estate, including experience with acquisitions, and asset management preferred
