We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Food and Beverage Manager for our BURGER THEORY at the AVID | HOLIDAY INN & SUITES.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in F&B management with prior experience managing a fast-paced kitchen staff. This is a fast-paced environment in which the successful candidate will be responsible for expediting food orders, budgeting food supplies, training staff and handling concerns from restaurant guests. The manager is also responsible for scheduling staff, overseeing service and performing line checks throughout the day.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the activity of the restaurant & banquet catering events
  • Train staff on preparing food, presenting food, and providing the highest quality to guests
  • Closely monitor inventory (beer/liquor/wine/food) to ensure no theft and minimize wastage
  • Improve profitability by increasing revenues, customer satisfaction and staff productivity.
  • Control budgets by planning and monitoring expenditures, prices, cash flow, and sales volumes; develop control procedures; monitor results.
  • Make decisions about the most appropriate methods and procedures for maintaining financial records based on internal controls, professional standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Planning the marketing, promotional activities and operational activities of a restaurant or hotel.
  • Oversee the management of the computer hardware and software at a restaurant or hotel.
  • Timely resolve customer complaints; maintain a guest-friendly attitude and manage customer expectations.
