Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Field incoming calls to the office
  • Front Desk Receptionist must serve as a friendly presence as patients enter the office
  • Schedule appointments working around the office schedule
  • Acquire required information from the patient
  • Ensure patient contact information is up to date
  • Assist patients with insurance verification
  • Verify insurance information
  • Other duties may be required that are not limited to the Front Desk Receptionist role

Qualifications

  • Impeccable customer service
  • Ability to stay organized and help others stay organized
  • Flexible
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing and data entry
  • Previous experience in a Front Desk Receptionist role or in an optical office is a plus
