Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, you will help patients by evaluating their impairments, establish a plan of care, monitor their progress, and document their treatment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform new patient evaluations
  • Create a plan of care with attainable and measurable goals
  • Provide patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises
  • Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely daily notes, progress notes and re-assessments
  • Establish a diagnosis of impairments and their impact on activity of daily living
  • Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Establish an effective home exercise program
  • Effectively communicate with the referring provider
  • Maintain continuing education requirements per state board


  • Must have experience in outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience with a variety of patient population
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to function in fast paced outpatient setting
  • Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
  • Must be hard working, eager to learn and coachable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • Spanish speaker a plus
