Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Optical Retail General Manager to oversee and manage our optical retail store. Drive exceptional customer satisfaction, manage day-to-day operations, and lead a team of dedicated optical professionals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1.  Team Leadership

  •    Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of optical sales associates.

  •    Foster a positive work environment encouraging teamwork and professional growth.

2. Operational Excellence:

  •    Ensure smooth operations, including inventory management and eyewear product merchandising.

  •    Implement efficient processes to optimize retail workflow and store performance.

3. Customer Service:

  •    Champion a customer-centric culture, ensuring team members not only meet, but consistently exceed customer expectations.

  •    Address customer concerns promptly for high satisfaction.

4. Sales and Revenue Growth:

  •    Develop strategies to drive sales growth and exceed revenue targets.

  •    Analyze sales trends and implement initiatives for improvement.

5. Product Knowledge and Training:

  •    Stay informed about optical industry trends and technologies.

  •    Provide ongoing training to enhance team’s optical product knowledge and sales skills.

6. Financial Management:

  •    Manage store budget, implementing cost-effective measures without compromising service quality.

  •    Optimize profit margins through strategic financial management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).

  • Proven optical retail management experience with a track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, motivating a diverse team.

  • In-depth knowledge of eyewear products, industry trends, and optical technology.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to a positive shopping experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
