Job Duties and Responsibilities

What you will do as our next Housekeeping Supervisor 

  • Showcase your “people skills” as you respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner and participate in team meetings with other staff members.
  • Be a leader as you oversee and train the housekeeping team.
  • A strong desire to serve as you clean guest rooms as assigned – making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, changing and replenishing bed linens, towels and guest amenities, turn down service as needed.
  • Be a team player as we work hard and have lots of fun!

Qualifications

What you need to be successful as a Housekeeping Supervisor 

  • Establish and ensure standards, policies and procedures are in compliance with brand and Prominence Hospitality Group
  • Inspects and reports all repair needs to the Maintenance Department.
  • Opening and closing of the Housekeeping Department
  • Performs, assigns and distributes daily room and key assignments to Team Members.  As well as daily room and public space inspections.
  • Maintain Inventory supplies and equipment to include monthly linen inventory.
  • Develop and implement new and improved cleaning instruments and methods.  
  • Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service, while maintaining budgeted hours
  • Effectively communicates company policies to Team Members and enforces safety regulations.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts including interviewing prospective candidates.
  • Responsible for training Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members in accordance with standards as outlined by brand and Prominence Hospitality.
  • Complete all required reports, records and/or logs.
