Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Excellence team
- Effectively maintain Personal files in all Learning ARTS databases
- Creates Learning ARTS reports as needed
- Manages PTO/UTO and sick leave dash boards
- Conduct regular audits of files and records
- Answer employee questions and address employee concerns
- Communicate company updates and changes regarding new hires, terminations, benefit changes, or policy changes
- Draft letters, memos and compose correspondence relating to routine communications
- Maintain confidentiality of Human Resources information
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Conducts Conflict Management as needed
- Coordinates management training in terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Observes current HIPAA/HITECH guidelines and company policies and procedures regarding the privacy and security of patient and employee information.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1 year administrative experience
