We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Human Resources team based out of our Gaston, SC manufacturing facility. The Human Resources Representative is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding and offboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment and employment law compliance. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Human Resources Representative will be reportable to the HR Manager and have responsibilities for the following tasks:

  • Develop and maintain talent management processes
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs
  • Assist with the onboarding & offboarding process 
  • Handle employee concerns, provide support for disciplinary actions and assist with investigations as needed.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide daily HR support, handling various inquiries, employee relations issues, and other operational tasks to support the HR Manager and organizational goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization. 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound judgment decisions
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and drive change
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and energy

Preferred

  • Human Resources Certification – PHR, SHRM-CP
  • Proficiency with HR software, including ADP Workforce Now, E-Time, SAP (Concur, SuccessFactors)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial work environment
