The Licensed Psychologist (LP) will assume a key role in our organization as member of the psychological services team who also functions within the ABA team. This candidate will need to have special strengths in child development and a background in behavioral psychology is preferred. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Strategy and Regional Director of Psychological Services, the Licensed Psychologist (LP) will provide oversight for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) as the Billing Provider for a center-based ABA intervention program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee initial evaluations for children referred for ABA services, which includes
- Review of the diagnostic evaluation and any supporting documentation provided
- Review results of assessments completed during the evaluation
- Review relevant background information presented during the evaluation
- Determine the treatment recommendation with the BCBA completing the evaluation
- Review and approve treatment documentation, including plan of care and functional behavior analysis/behavior intervention plan, written by the BCBA
- Conduct monthly individual supervision with each BCBA
- Maintain records of monthly supervision for each child being treated
- Complete monthly observation visits within each clinic (virtual and/or in person)
- Maintain appropriate and effective communication with clinic and regional leadership

- Provide ongoing leadership, professional development, and other support to fellow diagnosticians and other clinicians within the organization
Required Education and Experience
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) and licensed by the NC Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- Background in Behavioral Psychology and/or ABA preferred
- Must complete Continuing Education courses as outlined by the appropriate licensing board
- Exhibit superior organizational skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Maintain a negative Tuberculosis screening according to the CDC
- Obtain and possess and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years

Physical Demands
Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)
