Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming and professional culture throughout the inn
- Manage reservations via apps and websites, monitor inventory through POS systems, and coordinate guest check-ins with efficient room assignments
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for smooth operations across guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and security
- Oversee supplier and vendor relationships to ensure adequate inventory and operational supplies
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and licensing regulations

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing routine operations, including front desk, housekeeping, managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the physical facilities.
- Training staff members, including front desk clerks, housekeepers, food & beverage team, maintenance workers and administrative staff.
- Addressing guest complaints and concerns, monitoring guest feedback and implementing changes to improve customer satisfaction.
- Planning and implementing capital improvements to the inn, such as renovations, upgrades or expansions.
- Managing inventory to meet financial goals and providing leadership to inn staff members when required.
- Creating a memorable customer experience by delivering on guest expectations while exceeding them.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a hotel manager, hotel operations manager or similar role.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- Experience managing a luxury or high-end hotel and a large team of staff.
- Demonstrated success in managing regular operations, including guest experience and operational performance.
- Possess strong communications skills to effectively interacts with guests, staff members and vendors.
- Ability to resolve problems quickly, such as guest complaints or staff conflicts.
- A keen eye for detail to monitor all aspects of the inn’s operations, from housekeeping to food & beverage services. Excellent sales and marketing acumen with great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong leadership skills, problem-solving understanding and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
