Market Director of Business Development will be responsible for the long-term growth of an assigned region of a healthcare entity via new sales and expansion of services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for producing new business and developing new referral sources

  • Work with the operations team in developing and executing strategic and operational vision for assigned region

  • Target and solicit local, regional, and national accounts

  • Travel as needed within the regions geographic scope, up to 75%

  • Prepare presentations and pitch materials for new business pursuits

  • Consistently meet performance metrics and develop actionable goals for lower performing locations within the market

  • Represent Company at local or regional conferences or at National meetings and trade organizations

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters Degree Preferred

  • 7-10 years experience in Healthcare Business Development/Sales and Leadership

  • Experience in referral development and/or post acute healthcare environment

  • Strong presentation-building skills and strong written and oratory traits are an absolute must
