Job Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Specialist job responsibilities include:

  • Create, manage, and execute marketing strategies
  • Oversee the full production of client content
  • Collaborate with agencies, vendors, stakeholders, creative teams
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Navigate/use a HubSpot platform; execute campaigns; run email campaigns
  • Oversight of the company's marketing budget; revenue generation
  • Market through various channels and segment databases, working with large data sets
  • Marketing business development proposals; recommend marketing tactics
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights


Marketing Specialist required skills & qualifications include:

  • Four-year or advanced degree – prefer marketing, advertising or business administration
  • At least four years of marketing experience with Marketo and Hubspot skills
  • Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on the results
  • Some consulting experience that includes data and software services
  • B2B, digital and direct response marketing experience
  • Creative writing skills with an eye for great emails and landing pages
  • Strong project management skills and problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Must be willing to travel if/when necessary
