Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Arriving early for your shift
- Talk with guests about their symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Evaluate guests before and during the massage to locate painful or tense body areas.
- Manipulate muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues of the body
- Increase range of motion through joint mobilization techniques
- Suggest future massage appointments and regime to guests
- Listen to guests during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
- Guide stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and improving their posture
- Document guests’ conditions and progress
- Clean your treatment room and sanitize equipment
Qualifications
Massage Therapist Requirements:
- Actively State Licensed Massage Therapists
- Active Listening
- Reliable, punctual, passionate and goal-driven
- Professional and drug/alcohol-free
- A passion for working with people
- A can-do attitude and high energy
- A team player with a passion for the spa and guest service industry
