Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nurses and ER Technicians, ensuring a positive, supportive work environment.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of nursing and ER tech staff.
- Manage and maintain monthly scheduling, ensuring all shifts are covered efficiently.
- Develop, update, and enforce nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with leadership.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including therapeutic and diagnostic interventions.
- Assess patients and provide age-specific education on their treatment plans.
- Participate in and support infection control initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Ensure accurate and complete patient records while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.
- Provide administrative support to physicians and clinical teams.
- Actively contribute to workflow planning, crisis management, and quality improvement efforts.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Uphold all regulatory, employment, safety, and company policies.
Perform other duties as needed to support emergency department operations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Associates Degree in Nursing or higher.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with a strong ER background preferred. ICU experience will be considered.
- At least 2 years of management, charge nurse, or leadership experience in an ER setting preferred.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications.
- Completion of company-provided laboratory testing education and competency training.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret medical and business regulations, write reports, and present information effectively.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
