The ophthalmic photographer performs accurate ophthalmic photographs as per the ordering physician and protocols.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs intravenous fluorescein angiographies and ICG angiographies.
- Performs color fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, and retinal thickness analysis
- Obtains informed consent form as it applies
- Ensures proper maintenance of cameras and associated instruments
- Assists with the flow of the clinic
- Maintains adequate levels of supplies for imaging department.
- Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA and security protocols.
- Supports RGF’s Mission Statement.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2-year recent experience preferred COA or COT certification is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with patients, physicians, and staff
- Ability to exhibit patience, compassion and excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility with hours and local area travel
- Ability to work in multiple software programs/applications
- Ability to prioritize tasks properly
- Ability to work in a high pace team environment and or independently
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
