POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Standard Order Processing and Batch Order Processing teams to ensure all orders are processed accurately, on time, and in alignment with customer and company expectations. This role drives team performance, enforces process standards, and ensures operational efficiency through effective leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workflow across Standard and Batch Order Processing to ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Monitor order volume, batch schedules, and capacity to proactively manage workload and staffing
  • Ensure all orders are processed, quality checked, and shipped accurately and within required timelines
  • Lead, coach, and develop Leads and Coordinators to achieve performance expectations
  • Establish and enforce accountability for productivity, quality, and communication standards via trackable data
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely, professional resolution
  • Partner with EAMs and cross-functional teams to align on customer expectations and operational requirements
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to quality control processes; identify trends and implement corrective actions
  • Review and analyze operational reports (Gemba boards, error logs, production metrics) to drive performance improvements.
  • Oversee supply management for processing departments
  • Identify process gaps and implement standardized solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Ensure proper communication and implementation of new processes or changes within the team
  • Support staffing decisions, scheduling, and resource planning based on business needs
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products, systems, and workflows
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Directly manage team performance, including coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations
  • Foster a team-oriented environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Provide ongoing training and development to build team capability and bench strength
  • Ensure clear communication of expectations, priorities, and organizational updates

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of order processing and/or batch processing operations
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and workflow management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
  • Previous experience in a processing, lead, or training role within the organization preferred
  • ISO/FDA regulation knowledge preferred
