We are seeking a motivated individual to join our CPR – Clear Path Recycling site’s Shipping & Receiving team based in Fayetteville, NC. The ideal candidate for the Packout Operator possesses a safety mindset and applies a high degree of self-driven ownership and accountability to assist in the recycling/production process through the handling of production batches and material including managing bi-products and loading and unloading of trailers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Packout Operator will be reportable to the Shift Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks:

  • Inspect equipment prior to each use
  • Follow all pack out & quality control procedures
  • Pack out of Q1/Q2 material into super sacks for shipment or rework
  • Perform routine patrols of bi-product bags
  • Create batches and labels for all materials
  • Removal of batches during rework of Q1/Q2 material
  • Communicate with lab technician regarding material quality as well as with the shift supervisor on trailers needed for material
  • Enter aluminum bales into SAP and load for shipment
  • Monitor rework hopper during green runs to ensure silo is full and production line is maintained
  • Document packing list for shipments to customers
  • Follow all applicable plant rules including Quality, Maintenance, and Safety policies and procedures
  • Responsible for housekeeping standards at mixed plastic baler and west pad
  • Wear and maintain all required PPE
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
  • All other duties as assigned and or required

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to frequently move product up to 50lbs
  • Ability to frequently move about assigned work area and work 12-hour rotating shift
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including working outside and inside a non-climate-controlled facility

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be 18-years of age
  • Good organizational skills and detailed orientated
  • Positive attitude and the ability to take direction from management
  • Ability to work and perform in a team environment
