Patient Account Representative Job Responsibilities

  • Verify and process insurance claims related to Vision Therapy services, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Handle billing procedures, including invoicing and reconciling accounts, to ensure seamless financial transactions.
  • Assist patients with inquiries about insurance coverage, appointments, and any financial concerns related to their Vision Therapy treatment.
  • Maintain a well-organized database of patient information, billing records, and insurance details.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional patient satisfaction.

Patient Account Representative Job Qualifications

  • AA or BA/BS desired
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office
  • Skilled with Google Drive platforms
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to set priorities and ensure commitments/deadlines are met.
  • Familiarity with vision therapy
  • Some in-city travel required.
