Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating Administrative Patient Care
- Billing
- Coordination of Care between staff and families
- Member Benefits
- Manage Patient files
- Other duties as assigned
- The ideal candidate is responsible for handling billing, claims, and ensuring accurate processing for insurance payments
- Responsible for posting charges and submitting claims electronically to third party payers including Medi-Cal and commercial insurances
- Follow up on unpaid claims, denials and appeals as necessary
- Verify the accuracy of billing data and correct any errors
Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- 2 years administration experience
- Adaptable changes in the workplace
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Fast Learner
- Great attitude with a passion to learn
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese a plus!
