This is NOT an entry-level position. Candidates MUST have at least 2 years of experience as a PTA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Treatment Support: Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized therapy plans.
- Patient Education: Guide patients on exercises, body mechanics, and home exercise programs.
- Documentation & EMR Management: Accurately document patient progress for continuity of care.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside therapists, patients, and clinic staff for optimal outcomes.
- Clinic Operations Support: Prepare treatment areas, maintain equipment, and ensure a seamless therapy experience.
- Uphold Ethical & Professional Standards: Maintain confidentiality, respect patient rights, and deliver compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Current Virginia PTA License (REQUIRED)
- Graduate of an Accredited PTA Program
- Passionate About Helping Patients Reach Their Goals
- Self-Motivated & Detail-Oriented Professional
- Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills
- Ability to Lift 50-100 lbs. & Perform Varied Physical Activities
- Team Player with Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
