  • Fair Pay Compensation: Between $79K and $87K annually (negotiable) depending on your experience level, plus a signing bonus,
  • Abundant Continuing Education: As for education, FYZICAL provides certifications in balance and vestibular therapy as well as orthopedics, including TMJ, and even pelvic health. Studies can be done virtually, in person or through our unique FYZICAL College. You will be expected to have completed our Balance Level 1 certification within your first month so you will feel competent to treat one of our most vulnerable populations. Other advanced balance and vestibular certifications will also be made available, and you will be expected to participate in regular continued education to stay on top of your game! The best part?   • Tools of Trade: At FYZICAL Bon Air, we are committed to integrating cutting-edge technology to support the latest advancements in our field. We recognize that as our understanding of physical therapy evolves, so must the tools we use. When you visit our clinic, you will be introduced to our state-of-the-art Safety Overhead Support (SOS) System, along with training tools that incorporate the most advanced computer technology available.
  • Mentorship: FYZICAL mentorship comes from the small company feel with the big company presence. Literally hundreds of experienced PTs across the country are available to help teach, counsel and guide you. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Perform patient evaluations/exams
  • Assess the patients’ physical activity limitations
  • Perform daily documentation and billing utilizing Prediction Health ai intergraded with Prompt
  • Create and implement physical therapy programs meant to restore function, improve physical movement, and pain management
  • Records and documents evaluation, assessment, plan of care, treatment, response, and progress in patient’s medical record
  • Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises, track progress
  • Provide education on techniques and develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and respect in all interactions with patients and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
  • Responsible for pursuing continuing education in the form of formal classes, reading of periodicals and other literature
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders and within physical therapy scope of practice in accordance with state laws 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Skills, Education, Licensure:

  • Graduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in Virginia
  • 1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience (*preferred but must complete Balance 1, 2 & 3 within 1st year of employment)
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information
  • Competency in PT evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment
  • Work with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and to lift 100 pounds.
  • Varied activities including sitting, walking, squatting, stooping, lifting, bending, and reaching
