Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
- Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
- Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
- Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
- Examine and evaluate new patients
- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
- Establish a plan goal and time frame
- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
- Measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a current, active Physical Therapist license in Georgia.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and progress skilled treatment plans in outpatient orthopedic care, with readiness to contribute to our expanding balance and vestibular rehabilitation program.
- Self-motivated professional with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.
- Deep passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences and achieving outstanding outcomes.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in an outpatient neurological or orthopedic setting, or prior vestibular rehabilitation experience.
