Role Title: Staff Physical Therapist
Summary of the Role
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional care through one-on-one, personalized treatment and advanced therapies. This role is crucial in fulfilling our mission of empowering patients to achieve their recovery goals and restoring their confidence in movement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Communicate with patients in a way that they can confidently make the right decision about the plan of care you suggest

Develop a mutually beneficial relationship that benefits both the patient and the clinic
-
Ensure that patients remain excited about the prospect of coming for physical therapy (and remain committed to the treatment plan that you suggest)

Provide a high level of customer care that will cause patients to want to come back frequently and tell their friends and family about us as well

Perform new-patient evaluations/exams

Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
-
Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
-
Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
-
Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
-
Examine and evaluate new patients
-
Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
-
Establish a plan goal and time frame
-
Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
-
Measure and track intervention effectiveness
-
Ensure that patients agree to a plan of care that will help them hit their health goals
-
Ensure that patients complete a full plan of care (as agreed in the first session)

Ensure that clinical notes are kept up-to-date and accurate
Qualifications
-
Accredited PT program graduate
-
Up-to-date state PT license
-
Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
-
Graduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in Texas
-
Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
