FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center-Shavano Park in San Antonio is looking for a motivated, hard-working and personable physical therapist for a part time position (16-20 hours per week) with flexible hours. FYZICAL Shavano Park is a dynamic, patient-focused outpatient physical therapy clinic specializing in vestibular therapy, balance treatment, neurological conditions, movement disorders, and orthopedics. The ideal candidate will have broad PT skills with experience and/or interest in vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) and balance, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fun setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
- Create a plan of care that sets goals and completion date
- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises and track progress
- Provide education to patients on their condition, the rational for recommended treatment and the techniques for the continuation of care
- Timely and thorough documentation of care while working with the patient
- Educate patients on additional products and services that may enhance treatment and wellness
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities, skills and experience:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program – new graduates are encouraged to apply
- A current Texas State License for Physical Therapy (PT) (or Temporary License)
- Experience and/or interest in vestibular disorders and balance, including motivation to learn FYZICAL’s proprietary vestibular care protocols.
- Previous experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting
- A true sense of care for our clients and an interest in guiding people to success
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Experience developing care plans to provide optimal care in an outpatient setting
- A self-starter and can work independently to care for patients
- Motivated by serving others
- Highly organized and dependable in professional activities
- Ability to complete your documentation within standard timelines
- Enjoy partnering with others to accomplish tasks
- Current CPR certification
