We are seeking a full-time Physician Liaison (Outside Sales role) to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. Salary is approx. $52,000 per year.
The Physician Liaison works closely with the PT. You are a Brand Ambassador to the community who will call upon local physicians to build a relationship. Your job is to grow the patient referral base. This position is essentially a combination of sales and public relations through strategically promoting FYZICAL’s services and treatments while strengthening our reputation in the community. The “FYZICIAN” Liaison is responsible for overseeing 200+ physicians and medical clinics in Metairie.
The Physician Liaison is critical for the success of our clinic. The Liaison will be responsible for the following:
- Increasing patient referrals
- Strengthening relationships with physicians and their staff
- You will be a community-facing professional who provides patients and the community with the first impression of our brand.
The Physician Liaison is the bridge between our clinic and the referring offices and our broader community.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads initiatives to build referral volume and favorable provider perceptions among external physicians.
- Must provide own vehicle, however mileage reimbursement will be paid at $0.55 per mile.
- $1,000 expense account to be used for relationship-building.
- Develops and implements specific outreach, relationship building and marketing plans to meet referral goals.
- Must exhibit excellent time management skills, organization and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze referral data by checking the Daily Management Report each day.
- Must learn to use new programs for tracking and lead management.
- Must develops strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses.
- Works collaboratively with other team members who interact with physician offices.
- Establishes and maintains ongoing communications with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls.
- Uses research-based methods and implements strategies to build awareness and trust.
- Identifies referral sources (target audiences).
Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willing to travel within an assigned territory.
- Must provide own vehicle, however mileage reimbursement will be paid.
- A Valid Driver’s License as daily driving is a job requirement.
- Recent and direct experience working in a communications position within a sales or marketing environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn new computer programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Business Administration or Healthcare may be considered in lieu of experience.
