We are currently seeking a part time Pilates Trainer
If you have a passion to be part of integrating Pilates into rehabilitation and pre-habilitation in a healthcare setting, then this innovative Pilates Instructor Position in a Physical Therapy Clinic is for you. The Pilates Instructor will provide massage therapy services at the outpatient clinic, a beautiful healing space.
The Ideal Candidate is a Pilates Instructor with Experience who wants to continue to hone their craft. Continuing Education is encouraged and supported especially when it comes to supporting special populations such as the elderly, pregnant women, dancers, and runners.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing private Pilates sessions to a range of clientele.
- Instructing clients using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair, small props, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience
- Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each session to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- Clearly document visits and follow HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the treating physical therapist regarding patient needs and precautions.
Qualifications
- Current Pilates Certification with 450 hours of experience or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of anatomy
- Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
- Special interest in chronic pain clients
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Punctual, reliable and dedicated
- Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
- Candidate must be a self-starter who feels confident in their ability to expand their patient base using their knowledge and skills.
