Job Duties and Responsibilities

Program Director job responsibilities include:

  • Facility Profit and Loss (P&L) oversight ¬†
  • Operations integration with various departments within the hospital
  • Collaborate with Medical Director to coordinate and integrate provider actions
  • Oversee consistency is maintained for facility operational procedures
  • Lead and motivate via recruitment, training, performance management and coaching
  • Meet all facility operational metrics benchmarks
  • Take part in local marketing activities; oversee client outreach/education
  • Via RVP support, ensure a trusted and strategic partnership with physician leadership and hospital partner
  • Support RVP to evaluate the opportunity for service line enhancements leading to profitability and customer service
  • Oversight of center-level growth and volume; take part in regulatory/accreditation preparedness
  • Lead clinical managers and administrative staff in partner relationship activities
  • Maintain a positive and engaged relationship with the hospital partner leadership team¬†
  • With the regional VP and JOC, take part in the budget development process
  • Oversee the customer service experience, and relations at the facility and comprehensive measurement, tracking and reporting of customer satisfaction levels at the facility


Program Director required skills & qualifications include:

  • Must have a college diploma; master’s degree/MBA preferred
  • At least two years of experience in healthcare
  • At least three years of experience in progressive management¬†
  • Leadership skills; able to make quick/accurate judgment calls
  • Team management and development skills
  • Strong financial experience; proven fiscal and operational leadership
  • Able to travel to various company facilities
  • Prefer multi-site environment experience
