The Ramp Agent is a critical position on our team and is responsible for performing ramp duties in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. This position will report to the Ramp Supervisors and is located in Hyannis, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard, MA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Operates all company ground support equipment as requested or required, including Tugs, Belt Loaders, and Pushback, etc.
  • Performs ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
  • Performs customer service activities such as helping customers.
  • Assists with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
  • Ensures all buildings and grounds are safe, clean and organized.
  • Conducts or assists with daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will:

  • Be highly organized, motivated and committed to following safety protocols.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Be comfortable working on a small, but mighty team, and pitch in wherever needed.
  • Be passionate about going the extra mile to service our customers.
  • Be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
  • Be physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 50 lbs.
  • Have previous experience in ramp service or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Possess and maintain valid state drivers’ license.
  • Pass a TSA background check
  •  Accept a preemployment substance use screening

Work schedule:

  • This will be a seasonal position from May – October, with full time and part time positions available.
