BrightStar Care Gainesville is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing to a medically complex pediatric patient in their Gainesville home. Available Shifts
– Mon–Thurs: 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM
– Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
– Tuesday: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
– Friday, Sat & Sun: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
– Friday, Sat & Sun: 3:00 PM – 11:00 AM
– Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
– Mon–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
– Mon–Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Duties and Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing to a medically complex pediatric patient — conditions include trach/vent dependency, G-tube feeding, seizure disorders, and chronic respiratory disease
- Assess, monitor, manage equipment, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition — independently, in the family’s home
- Follow and contribute to a physician-ordered plan of care
- Complete shift documentation and communicate with case manager and supervising team
Qualifications
Must have:
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license valid in FL)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
Preferred — training provided for the right candidate:
- Pediatric, NICU, or PICU experience
- Trach, ventilator, or G-tube experience
- BSN (associate degree RNs considered)
