Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients

  • Ensure patients are seen promptly and clinic flow runs efficiently with no backlogs

  • Provide supervised assistance to patients during treatments and exercise sessions

  • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms and equipment after each session

  • Assist therapists in setting up patients for modalities and exercise programs (under supervision)

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic and gym environment

  • Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach as needed

  • Support administrative and office functions as assigned

  • Perform laundry and general housekeeping duties to uphold clinic standards

Qualifications

Required skills & qualifications:

  • H.S. graduate or GED
  • Great communication/interpersonal skills

Preferred but not required:

  • Previous experience working in a outpatient physical therapy clinic
  • Working toward a PT or PTA degree
  • Knowledgeable of medical language
  • Physical Therapy Technician/Aide Certification (PTTC) is preferred 
  • Bilingual is preferred but not required
