Job Duties and Responsibilities

Retail Sales Associate job responsibilities include:
- Assist patients in making frame selections
- Coordinate order pickups and deliveries
- Work with patients to customize their eyewear
- Make small adjustments to frames and lenses
Qualifications
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY / WILL TRAIN / ENTRY LEVEL
Retail Sales Associate required skills & qualifications include:
- Fashion savvy and enjoy helping people
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment
- No Retail Sales Associate experience is necessary; will train
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Customer reception and service.
- Maintain patient records, schedule appointments, collect payments
- Obtain Insurance information and authorization, facilitate insurance billing and collection.
- Process and follow up on orders with laboratories.
- Maintain Inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and overall style of the optical department
- Identify the patient’s eyewear needs and educate the patient about eyewear options.
- Properly fit and adjust eyewear.
- Process In-Office Finishing
- Assist in the selection of fashionable eyewear.
- Promote eyewear, contact lenses, and eye product sales.
- Participate in continuing education regarding products and sales.
