The Senior Field Training Manager is a remote, field‑based role responsible for developing, delivering, and overseeing operational training programs aligned with ZIPS University, the organization’s learning and development framework. This position requires travel approximately two weeks per month to support field operations and training initiatives across assigned markets.
Preference will be given to candidates who reside in one of the following markets:
- DFW Metroplex
- Raleigh, Charlotte, Winston-Salem, or Asheville, NC
- Knoxville, TN
- Louisville or Lexington, KY metro areas.

With the support of a team of Field Training Coordinators, the Senior Field Training Manager ensures Field Leaders and frontline team members are consistently trained to ZIPS standards across hospitality, operational procedures, sales, and safety—driving operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Training Program Development
• Develop, deploy, and continuously improve training programs and LMS content based on operational needs, performance trends, and industry best practices
• Ensure training programs and materials are current, accurate, aligned with ZIPS U, and effective
• Create individual or role-based training plans as needed
Team Leadership and Support
• Oversee the daily activities and work schedules of Field Training Coordinators (FTCs)
• Strategize FTC visit schedules and trip itineraries to maximize impact and ROI
• Delegate training and program development tasks to increase efficiency and grow the team’s capacity
Field Support and Coaching
• Conduct regular site visits to assess training needs, support site leadership, and reinforce hospitality and operational standards
• Host engaging, effective group training sessions and adapt methodology based on participant needs
• Serve as the company’s car wash subject matter expert and primary resource for operational best practices, procedures, and technical knowledge
Performance Tracking
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, success, and ROI of all training programs
• Provide program and feedback reporting to Operations leaders and company stakeholders
• Ensure training milestones and goals are met while adhering to the approved training budget
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1+ years of car wash site management experience; multi-unit experience a plus
• Extensive knowledge of car wash operations, preventative equipment maintenance, and POS operations
• Experience presenting to groups
• Able to travel extensively (up to 70%)
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds
• Able to sit for long periods
