Senior Clinician: The Senior Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing best practice individual and group mental health therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) through assessment and intervention, and providing treatment and consultation services to develop and facilitate active, natural learning using evidence-based treatment methods. The Senior Mental Health Clinician serves as a supervisor to all Mental Health Clinicians by providing on-going training, coaching and supervision to ensure effective and successful service delivery in compliance with regulatory board standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises Licensed Mental Health Clinicians and provides clinical supervision to include in person supervision of client sessions and regular supervision meetings.
Trains and support Licensed Mental Health Clinicians in conducting evaluations, identifying, and developing client acquisition goals, daily treatment notes, daily data analysis and other documentation as needed within required time frame.
Supervise and train clinical interns to include in person supervision of client sessions and regular supervision meetings, in accordance with state licensure requirements. 
Responsible for ensuring all direct therapists establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.
Provide coverage for therapy sessions and carry a small caseload to maintain best practice standards.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other counseling field
Licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
Functional Understanding of how ASD impacts the family system
At least 2 years of experience working with children and/or adolescents with ASD or related disorders
Experience implementing behavioral/cognitive behavioral interventions
Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed mental health clinician
