Summary
The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing  customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role requires a deep understanding of  Salesforce architecture and best practices, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Salesforce Development:

  • Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support  critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and  company goals. 
  • Implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and  other Salesforce technologies.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and web services.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers. 
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and robust solutions.

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Perform regular system maintenance, including data integrity and security checks. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Salesforce platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features, and implement them as appropriate.

Documentation and Training:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce solutions. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users and other team members

Qualifications

Competencies

  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II) are highly desirable

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Extensive experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce  architecture and best practices. 
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Physical Demands 
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment. Work may be stressful at times due to a busy office.  Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
