Thompson Child & Family Focus is the leading provider of clinical and prevention services for children and families across the Carolinas and Florida. The Charlotte, NC-based, nationally accredited nonprofit agency empowers children and families through therapy, education, and prevention-based care. Thompson has multiple campuses specializing in clinical and behavioral treatment, developmental education, and proactive care.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimal of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent schooling to meet the state requirements to work in an early childhood education center in North Carolina.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Teaching License
- Experience as least 2 years of working as a teacher with children and/or adolescents in the age range of middle school/high school – preferably working with youth within a secure residential facility and/or a behavioral health setting.
- A valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates must complete an extensive background check is required.
