The Vice President of National Accounts with emphasis on hunting and pursuing new contracts as well as managing and leading sales team. While this executive needs to be a proven leader and capacity builder, this individual also needs to be comfortable “rolling up her/his sleeves” and getting into the details with a committed ambition to grow existing and new business. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Defines the annual budget with strategies to execute double digit year-over-year growth in existing accounts in the national account program with a focus on 6% new business account growth.
- Understands growth and share of business with each national account partner with a commitment for BrightStar share of business and a plan to grow through training, differentiation, geographical coverage, technology and innovation;
- Listens to franchisee needs; gathers and shares best practices for growth, operations, billing and collections practices within the franchise network; accountable for adoption and satisfaction of franchisees to deepen penetration annually.
- 50% sales growth through new and 50% sales growth via expansion of existing relationships.
- Is the lead role in establishing goals, objectives and priroities to deliver and exceed annual business targets, including top line revenue and gross margin targets;
- Leveraging market knowledge, identifies key business issues and growth opportunities with Commercial Insurance, LTC and Post Acute accounts such as, Infusion, Care Management, skilled nursing etc.;
- Builds enduring and deep customer relationships at the senior level and works collaboratively with BrightStar’s national accounts partners and franchisees to maximize utilization;
- Utilizing the opportunity for visibility, attends trade shows and conferences for key target national account opportunities;
- Leadership of existing business opportunities and drive strategy for growth (i.e., Medicare Advantage non-medical supplemental benefits, infusion, commercial insurance).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field with 10+ years of experience with national accounts in the healthcare industry.
- History of managing a team, high retention rate and demonstrated success with the teams results.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Franchise experience is a plus.
- A world class sales professional with the ability to obtain adoption, developing a strong and approachable rapport with senior leadership at BrightStar, National Accounts exeuctives and franchisee owners;
- Demonstrates strong organization, planning, communication, diplomacy, and presentation skills;
- Effective interpersonal, negotiating, and conflict management skills in a service-driven environment;
- Ability to travel, up to 30 – 50%.
