Intuitive Health is looking for a motivated, experienced, team-player to join our Operations & Implementations team. The candidate will lead implementation efforts related to new ER/Urgent Care facilities to be opened in connection with joint ventures and managed service agreements with health systems across the US. Expert healthcare operational knowledge as well as strong leadership ability is required. This is a highly interactive position working with many functional areas. This candidate must have strong technical hospital operations knowledge & learning agility to be able to obtain deep knowledge throughout the organization to successfully navigate the most complex implementations and come up with creative solutions to scale implementation operations to the next level. 
Role reports to EVP Operations & Implementations and leads Implementation project manager(s). 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: 

  • Responsible for leadership, management, and execution of a wide scope of operational processes and workflows as it relates to new facility openings. 
  • Oversees new facility operational implementation and opening process and project management including: 
    • Working with hospital partners, coordination of facility level regulatory compliance. 
      • CMS 855, Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, Facility Licensure, etc. 
    • Working on accreditation and certification with the appropriate state, county, and city departments, as well as the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS). 
    • Finalization of ER Billed Criteria and UC hours of operation. 
    • FF&E Finalization. 
    • Integration of Intuitive Health Model into Health System partner’s policy and 
      procedures including: 
      • Operational crosswalks 
      • Personnel responsibilities expansions as needed
    • EMR Customization consultation on both the clinical and revenue workflows. 
    • Development/modification of operations implementation manual. 
    • Coordination of acquisition and installation of equipment, including radiology, onsite lab, IT, etc. 
    • Leadership and Coordination of multiple functions/items including 
      • Physician Contracting with Health System 
      • Appropriate staff hiring, onboarding & training 
      • Supply chain process 
      • Pharmacy Services
      • IT infrastructure
      • Revenue cycle management processes 
  • Communication of project status to key stakeholders, including hospital partners and Intuitive Health senior management. 
  • Provide clear direction, communication, and guidance to mitigate project risks to all parties. 
  • Responsible for the oversight and management of Implementation Project Manager (s) and of all the various stakeholders involved in the implementation process and keeping them on task and on scheduled in order to meet new facility opening target date. 
  • Conduct post implementation analysis and create recommendations based on lessons learned. 

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • Graduate degree in Health or Business Administration a plus. 
  • Professional clinical background helpful (i.e. RN, EMT, Radiology) 

 
Requirements: The successful candidate should have: 

  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience and a record of accomplishment in hospital operations leadership. 
  • Experienced user of project management software such as Basecamp, MS Project, or similar. 
  • Understanding of joint venture and/or MSA models in healthcare. 
  • Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must. 
  • Track record of effectively leading multiple complex implementations/projects simultaneously. 
  • Self-driven, with an ability to work well under pressure and respond to shifting priorities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate people and teams cross functionally to resolve complex issues within designated time frames required.
