Aeromotive Services Inc., providing expertise and solutions to our customers wire harness needs since 1996, is looking for Wire Harness Technicians at our Elgin headquarters.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Position Description 
In this role we will teach you how to: 

  • Assemble wire harnesses to a nail board based on customer specifications. 
  • Read and understand electrical diagrams and drawings. 
  • Learn proper crimping and assembly techniques set by the IPC standards. 
  • Expand knowledge on best practices for proper wire harness manufacturing. 
  • Document and organize all notes and wire replacements to ensure product quality. 
  • Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 processes and instructions. 

Qualifications

Education
High School or equivalent, degree or certificate in automotive, trade school a plus, but not required.

Experience
This is an entry level position, experience in automotive repair a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to work and stay on task in area of responsibility. 
  • Must have good eye hand coordination. 
  • Must have physical dexterity of hands/fingers to assemble harnesses.
